A man was shot in Providence on Thursday afternoon.

According to police, the incident took place shortly after 4:30 PM in the Broad Street area.

The victim, a male, is being treated for reportedly non-life threatening injuries. He is 20-years-old.

Police are not releasing any additional details at this time.
