NEW: Gas Prices Up 1 Cent

Gasoline prices in Rhode Island are up one cent this week, the sixth consecutive week of increases, according to AAA Southern New England.

AAA’s February 6 survey of prices in Rhode Island found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $3.58 per gallon, one cent higher than last week. Prices locally are up 14 cents over the last month. The current price is 10 cents above the national average for regular unleaded of $3.48. A year ago at this time Rhode Island’s average price was $3.18.
