NEW: Gas Prices Down Five Cents

Gas prices in Rhode Island fell five cents this week, continuing a recent downward trend, according to AAA Southern New England.

A November 28 survey found the average price of self-serve, regular unleaded gasoline to be $3.41 per gallon. Though down one nickel from last week, that price is still twelve cents above the national average and thirty-seven cents above the average price at this time last year.
