NEW: Board of Elections Holding Emergency Meeting to Make Voter Info Confidential

The state Board of Elections has called an emergency meeting for today to discuss preventing voter phone numbers and e-mail address from being public information.

The proposal comes after public voter information was posted on website.

Under state law, a person's name, date of birth, address and political party are considered public records.
