UPDATED: Accident Involving Southwest Planes at Rhode Island International Airport

At least one Southwest Airlines plane was damaged in a reported accident at Rhode Island International Airport on Thursday night.
"My flight was delayed like 6 hours and then they hit a PARKED plane trying to leave," wrote X user EXN Zach shortly before midnight.
He posted a photo of a Southwest Airlines plane with what appeared to be damage.

"Southwest Airlines is aware of an event involving two of our aircraft at Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport yesterday evening. We are investigating further and will be thoroughly inspecting the two aircraft. In the meantime, we have reaccommodated the affected Customers. Nothing is more important to Southwest Airlines than the Safety of our Employees and our Customers," wrote Laura Swift, Southwest PR Team.
The account "FL360aero" posted the following on Thursday night.
"Happening now! A Southwest Boeing B737-8H4 aircraft (N8525S) hit another Southwest B737 aircraft (parked) and clipped its (own) winglet while taxiing at Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport (PVD) moments ago.
The aircraft was operating flight SWA3515 from Providence."
Airport officials said, "We understand that there was an incident last night between two Southwest aircraft. We refer you to Southwest to respond to your questions."
