Upon arrival, officers were met by an unidentified female and a male identified as Luis Vera, age 29.

Officers report that Vera had two gunshot wounds -- one in his left hand and another in his left leg.

According to the police, officers determined by talking with witnesses that two adult males and an adult female arrived at the property in a silver Honda Accord to confront the unknown female and Vera.

At that point, one of the males shot at Vera from the vehicle which then fled toward Providence, police said.

Rescue personnel responded to the location and transported Vera to Rhode Island Hospital where he is currently in stable condition.

Detectives are canvassing the area looking for any leads and interviewing residents who may have a Ring doorbell camera with possible footage that may be useful in the investigation.

North Providence police say that at this time, the shooting appears to be an isolated incident and the public is not at risk or danger.
