Man Killed in Shooting in Pawtucket Overnight

One man had been killed — and one is at Rhode Island Hospital — following a shooting in Pawtucket overnight.
The incident occurred at the Fab City Cigar Lounge on Newport Avenue shortly before 1 AM on Monday.
Pawtucket Detective Doug Harrington confirmed the fatality Monday morning.

Latest Gun Violence in Pawtucket
The incident marks the latest shooting in the city.
According to police, on Friday afternoon at approximately 2:45 PM, Pawtucket Police responded to the intersection of Newell Avenue at Sherman Street for a report of an adult male gunshot victim.
The victim was located and transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said this incident appears to have been a targeted event and not random.
Pawtucket Police Detectives executed a search warrant on the alleged victim’s home, and as a result, Albertini Andrade Moreira, age 23, from Sherman Street in Pawtucket was arrested and charged with the following offenses:
Manufacture-possession-delivery with intent Fentanyl
Manufacture-possession-delivery with intent Amphetamine
Manufacture-possession-delivery with intent Cocaine
Obstruction of an officer during the execution of their duty
