Man Arrested for Taking “Upskirt” Videos at Providence Place, Dozens More Found on His Phone
A man has been arrested for taking “upskirt” videos at Providence Place Mall.
The suspect had reportedly taken videos of unsuspecting women over a span of days.

On Saturday, April 11, Providence Police responded to the mall to meet with security, who had detained a man who had reportedly taken “upskirt” photos.
Security said they were made aware of the allegations when a female customer reported that the man had been following her around a store before leaving abruptly.
Police say they reviewed surveillance footage at the store, which showed the man placing his phone under the woman’s skirt.
The suspect - identified as Michael Pron, age 27 - reportedly had on his iPhone dozens of upskirt videos, taken over a span of days, of unsuspecting women throughout the mall.
Pron was taken to Central Station, where he was charged with disorderly conduct.
