About Incident

Police were called to the Graduate Hotel shortly after 1 AM Saturday morning for a report of a disturbance and a man fighting with staff inside the bar.

Upon arrival, police said they encountered the suspect — later identified as Lucas Mohr, age 33 — who was identified by hotel staff.

Mohr was detained in a cruiser, according to police.

Police said they spoke with the male bartender, who said he had asked Mohr to leave as the bar had closed for the night; the victim said Mohr then became hostile toward him.

The bartender told police Mohr then said “I will kill you” and began punching him in the head with closed fists.

Additional hotel staff reportedly came to break up the fight.

Multiple witnesses spoke with police about what had transpired; Mohr was transported to Central Station for charging.
