Kathy Griffin

At Kathy Griffin's recent press conference, she mentioned several times that it's the men that got her shows canceled because she works in a male-dominated field.

Then she redirects the blame on not all men but "white" men. Is it men as a whole, Kathy, who are against you? Or is it white men only who are against you?

Did you think you would get support from females of different races for what you did to yourself by blaming white men?

Interesting use of word choices that were choreographed to switch the blame to "white" men and not on herself.

Face the Consequences

Look... she messed up. Okay. So her shows got canceled because of a quick decision she made that backfired. Own it. Face the consequences. Move on. Be a woman Kathy, not a girl.

I have to tell you, Kathy, as a woman, to blame men and than classify it as "white" men for your poor choices is discrimination in itself. It's not "white" men or any race of men who put you up to this stunt, you did it.

If your case is blaming white men than why not blame your photographer who has been your good friend for years and whom you've worked with for years, as being to blame as well? After all, he's white and thought his photograph of you would be funny to the Trump haters as well?

Kathy, "You" created this situation. Here's some advice... a man's race or gender for that matter has nothing to do with making poor decisions that you made on your own. You're 56 years old. Deal with it, learn from it, and move forward. That's how most real women of all races handle problems in their lives that "they" create.

At your press conference, if you stood up for yourself by accepting the blame for "your" actions, dealt with the repercussions, apologized, and left it at that, period; that would have been admirable. But you didn't. You had to bring up men as your fall guys. And by doing so, you played the victim card and continued the cycle of women who are successful in the male arena as a put down for... well...being a woman.

Take Responsibility

Most women who succeed in life despite messing up, which we all do, take responsibility for themselves.

Your press conference was deplorable. Grow up! Start being a woman of substance than a little girl who blames boys for getting in trouble when you manifested the situation.

A piece of advice, Kathy, from one woman to another, you are being judged right now not only for a stunt you pulled that went bad, but also how you're going to handle the situation. Are you going to be a victim or survivor?

That's what your fans will remember the most in the future. Your choice: either you end it by taking the blame for what happen and move on...or create a new beginning with a fight you'll never win and your followers will never forget.
