Fire Sweeps Through State Senator’s Home

The house, located in Western Cranston on Briarbrooke Lane in Cranston, was engulfed in flames on Friday. Cranston Fire responded.
There were no reports of injuries. Flames could be seen shooting out of the home's roof.

About Lombardi
Lombardi was first elected to the Senate in 2012, He is a practicing attorney in Cranston and served as a judge in the City of Providence in the 1990s and early 2000s.
As GoLocal reported in 2019, the Rhode Island Soccer Coaches Association inducted Lombardi to the organization’s Hall of Fame and renamed their Official of the Year award after him.
“This has all been very humbling. I’ve worked hard for years in youth soccer, and I’m tremendously honored to be recognized by the coaches. I hope to continue to work to earn this honor,” said Lombardi.
