Ex-Police Chief’s Claims Dubbed “Falsehoods and Misinformation”

Now, RIAC’s Duc Nguyen, senior vice president of operations, says that the binder is a de facto pile of nothing, and the State Police found no credible complaints and returned the binder to the airport.
“The report is filled with falsehoods and misinformation. The senior management team at RIAC continues to be baffled by Mr. Perkins' conduct," said Nguyen in a statement.

Previously, Perkins served for a 35-year career in law enforcement. He had retired from the Middleborough Police Department just before coming to RIAC.
"Waste of Time"
"There is no ongoing investigation or review being conducted based on Mr. Perkins' assertions – quite the contrary,” said Nguyen in a statement. “The report and this entire incident have been a waste of time and resources for both RIAC and the Rhode Island State Police."
The airport has published the former chief’s claims and RIAC’s response.
“As previously stated, when Mr. Perkins resigned, he did not raise any concerns verbally or submit anything in writing about any of the reforms we were implementing, most of which had him taking the lead to reform the department – reforming the department was the main reason he was hired,” according to RIAC.
