Crossroads Rhode Island has received a $100,000 grant from the Bank of America Charitable Foundation to help it respond to rising numbers of homeless, particularly families. The grant will fund emergency operating support for homeless families and adult education and vocational training programs.
“We are so grateful to Bank of America for supporting Crossroads during this difficult time," said Anne Nolan, President of Crossroads Rhode Island. "Crossroads is proud of our relationship with Bank of America which is based not only on the financial support, but also includes their employees volunteering in our various programs or collecting in-kind donations for our clients.”
“The Bank of America Charitable Foundation is committed to strengthening the communities we serve,” said William F. Hatfield, President of Bank of America Rhode Island. “Supporting organizations like Crossroads Rhode Island builds capacities that make a difference by creating opportunities for those in need and improving the quality of life in our communities.”
