Chafee Names Policy Director

Governor-elect Lincoln Chafee announced this afternoon that he has chosen Brian M. Daniels, a former Legislative Director for Congressman Jim Langevin, to be his Director of Policy.
“Brian is highly talented, intelligent, and motivated,” Chafee said. “His past experience gives him a broad understanding of the issues facing our state. Brian will be responsible for a broad-based policy agenda with the aim of getting Rhode Island back on track.”
Since August, Daniels has been working as a research consultant at the Rhode Island Public Expenditure Council, where he specialized in health care form and its implementation at the state and local level. He also is an Associate Partner with Social Venture Partners Rhode Island.
