BREAKING: MA Man Who Robbed Bank and Shot at Officer Is Captured in Providence

A Massachusetts man who robbed a Somerville bank and fired at an officer has been captured this morning in Providence.
The capture was made at 42 Leah Street.
Providence Police, State, and federal law enforcement agencies spent weeks searching for that man who they said robbed the Middlesex Federal Savings Bank in Davis Square three weeks ago.

A Good Samaritan also tried to stop the robber. Surveillance video from a nearby business shows the bystander knocking a bag out of the suspect's hands as he ran from police.
