Brady Says “Immunity Boost” Plan on TB12 Website “Can Make Huge Difference” in Coronavirus Crisis
Tuesday, March 24, 2020
Now former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady took to Instagram on Monday night to tout tips on his TB12 website, saying the “immunity boost game plan” can make a “huge difference” during the coronavirus crisis.
Brady’s comments came as President Donald Trump addressed the nation on Monday, when COVID-19 deaths exceeded 100 in one day in the U.S. for the first time since the crisis began.
From “keeping a positive mindset,” to getting extra vitamin C, Brady directed his 7.4 million followers to check out the tips posted on TB12, which has a mere 380,000 followers.

“Hey guys — I hope you’re staying safe and healthy out there. I just wanted to share with you all some of the tips that we at TB12 put together,” said Brady.
“We’re in a tough moment, I know we can overcome it. Just taking some of these small steps can really make a huge difference in your life — they have in mine — I try to live by them every day, not just in moments of crisis,” he said.
“But we have one body, and we’re going to do the best we can to take care of it. I’m with you guys — you have my support, and I know we’re going to get through this together,” said Brady.
TB12 in Spotlight
In 2017, Gretchen Reynolds for the New York Times wrote, “Tom Brady’s ‘The TB12 Method’ is Hefty but Short on Science.”
Tom Brady, the New England Patriots’ successful and durable quarterback, has a new book. It is entitled “The TB12 Method: How to Achieve a Lifetime of Sustained Peak Performance,” and it is large and handsome, filled with photographs of Tom Brady, who also is large and handsome.
Should you buy this book? The answer probably depends on how you feel about science, branding and tomatoes.
The book, the first by Mr. Brady (with the assistance of ghost writer Peter Smith), is not an autobiography. Rather, it is a celebrity self-help manual that details the TB12 Method, an exercise and nutrition program Mr. Brady developed in conjunction with Alex Guerrero, his close friend, business partner and “body coach.”
Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and Guerrero had a reportedly complicated relationship
“The handwriting, however, was on the wall for all to read. There was no long-term extension available for Brady last training camp, only an $8 million raise to $23 million for 2019 on a two-year deal that he agreed would void at the end of the season,” wrote the New York Post this week following Brady's departure.
“There was that friction with Belichick over Brady’s promotion of personal trainer Alex Guerrero.”
