Bally’s Event Lawn Will Open at 195 District Park on Wednesday

City and state leaders along with Bally’s will officially open the Bally’s Event Lawn, a 45,000 square foot area of open space located within the seven-acre 195 District Park, Providence on Wednesday, August 9 at 3:00 PM.
On hand to participate in the official ribbon-cutting ceremony will be Governor Daniel McKee, Lt. Governor Sabina Matos, Speaker of the House K. Joseph Shekarchi, Senate President Dominick Ruggerio, City of Providence Mayor Brett Smiley, Marc Crisafulli, Chair of the I-195 Redevelopment District Commission and Craig Eaton, President of Rhode Island Operations for Bally’s.
Entertainment will be provided by the GoLocal Bally’s Lounge and will feature Rhode Island artists Mark Cutler, Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame; Joe Bruce and DJ ShureLive; and country artist Kevin Herchen.
