UPDATED: Assistant Fire Chief Killed in Shooting in Warren on Thursday

Two men in Warren were shot in Warren on Thursday -- and the suspect in the shooting died shortly after.
According to sources, the incidents happened in the vicinity of Main Street and Water Street.
GoLocal learned soon following that one of the victims, Assistant Fire Chief Brian Remy, was killed at the Italo-American Club, and another man was injured.

It was not clear immediately when officers found him if he had been shot or took his own life.
Police and authorities are currently investigating.
