U.S. Continues Strikes into Iran After Successful Rescue of F-15E Aircrew

On April 4, U.S. forces successfully completed the rescues of two American service members from Iran after their F-15E fighter jet was shot down April 2 during a combat mission.

The service members were safely recovered during separate search and rescue missions.

U.S. strikes into Iran continue as U.S. Central Command forces dismantle the Iranian regime’s ability to project power beyond its borders.

Middle East: "Russia Provided Iran With Intelligence on Over 50 Israeli Energy Targets, Zelensky Says"

Russia has provided Iran with satellite intelligence on more than 50 Israeli energy grid targets to assist in ongoing strikes, President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed in an interview with the Associated Press.

The data shared by Moscow covers approximately 50 to 53 sites, all of which are part of Israel’s civilian infrastructure with no military purpose, Zelensky stated. He drew a direct parallel between these actions and Russia’s long-standing campaign against Ukraine’s power and water systems.

“Of course, all the experience Russia gained during the war against Ukraine is being passed on to Iran,” Zelensky said, as reported in President’s official Telegram channel on Sunday, April 5. He noted that this cooperation mirrors the earlier transfer of Shahed drone technology, which Russia has since rebranded and modernized for its own use.

Middle East: War of Words Between Trump and Iran

US President Donald Trump has renewed his threat to attack Iran’s bridges and power plants, saying the country will be “living in Hell” if the Strait of Hormuz is not reopened.

Senior Iranian officials have condemned Trump’s latest remarks as part of a “dangerous game” that will harm civilians and amounts to “incitement to war crimes”.

Iran claims it has downed two C-130 planes and two Black Hawk helicopters belonging to the US, hours after Trump confirmed a US officer who went missing in Iran after the downing of his F-15E fighter jet had been rescued.

Iran has continued its attacks across the Gulf with Kuwait reporting two of its power generation and water desalination plants have been hit.

Lebanon: Israel Expands War - Kills 11

France 24 reports:

Israeli strikes on south Beirut and its suburbs killed at least four people on Sunday, a day after Israel threatened to hit Lebanon's main border crossing with Syria, forcing it to close.

The Israeli military also carried out deadly attacks on Lebanon's south, one of which killed seven people including a family of six.

Israel has launched airstrikes across Lebanon as well as a ground invasion in the south since March 2, when armed group Hezbollah entered the war in the Middle East on the side of its backer Iran.

Hezbollah on Sunday claimed to have fired a cruise missile at an Israeli warship off the coast, but the Israeli military told AFP it was "not aware" of such an incident.
