Former North Providence Town Councilman, historian, and author Paul Caranci spoke with GoLocal about his soon to be release book Wired, about his experience dealing with political corruption -- and offered his thoughts on whether the Rhode Island State police should be releasing the 38 Studios interview notes, as directed by Governor Raimondo.

He has a new book being published thie week titled. Wired

"Transparency is the cure for what ails us -- if you try do things in the shadows, people are suspect you're doing something wrong. If you're doing something wrong, it won't be hidden for long, history's shown us," said Caranci. "If you're not doing anything wrong, be transparent and let people know - not knowing is what creates the distrust in government.  It's time to move forward."
