NYT Bestselling Author Tess Gerritsen on New Book “I Know A Secret”

New York Times bestselling author Tess Gerritsen says her new book, the twelfth in the Rizzoli and Isles series, “I Know A Secret” was inspired while viewing sacred art on vacation in Italy. 

“I realized the painters in the medieval era, they would plant little things in their paintings that would tell you a story,” Gerritsen says, “so I thought what if a killer did that same thing?”

Gerritsen’s books have sold more than 30 million copies in forty countries around the world. Detective Jane Rizzoli and Dr. Maura Isles were such popular characters, they inspired the TNT television series “Rizzoli & Isles” starring Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander. 

Gerritsen says she’s currently working on two projects, a “very sexy ghost novel” and a documentary film about pigs and their relationships with humans.

On September 9, Gerritsen will be at the Warwick Barns and Noble for a talk and book signing. The event starts at 7:00 p.m.
