Friday, August 25, 2017
New North Providence Police Chief David Tikoian, who was sworn in on Tuesday, spoke to GoLocal's Kate Nagle about taking the helm of a beleaguered department and putting it in a new direction.
Tikoian, who served in the state police for 23 years before retiring in 2015, was appointed after then-Acting North Providence Police Chief Christopher Pelagio was suspended with pay in July after a reported altercation with a Cranston police officer.
