“It’s infinite, the possibilities of what I can do with the process and with these fabrics,” said Valentini.
Valentini, a Rhode Island School of Design graduate, has had much success with her high-performance handbag line for men and women.
Her bags are sculpted from repurposed foams and fabrics. She says all of her products are designed, manufactured and made in America.
While it wasn’t always easy to make products in America, Valentini says it was the right choice for her, and it is possible.
“It’s important as a designer to be responsible, to solve problems, to be conscious of where we are and where we are going,” Valentini says.
