Residential Properties Ltd. President and CEO Sally Lapides appeared on GoLocal LIVE, where she spoke to the company having a record 2017 finishing with nearly $800,000,000 in total sales volume -- and how she is aiming at over $1 billion in 2018.

RPL was recently ranked as the #1 real estate company in Rhode Island for both number of residences sold and overall sales volume in 2017. Founded in 1981, RPL now has approximately 180 agents and five office locations. 

In a wide-ranging interview, Lapides spoke to the current market versus pre-2007-2008; whether she saw the market at its peak yet; the impact of price increases and limited inventory, and what communities besides Providence are heating up. 

Lapides also offered advice to sellers ("your home is your commodity") and buyers ("don't fall in love with a house, you need to be flexible") in a tight market - and how she thinks a high-speed commuter rail between Providence and Boston would change the game.
