LIVE: Forefather of Indie Hip-Hop, RI’s Sage Francis, Reinvents Himself in New Group

A legendary figure in the RI hip-hop community, rapper Sage Francis, has been a major player in the indie hip-hop movement since his first musical release in 1996.  

With a 20-year career, Francis continues to tour the world and maintain his artistic integrity creating and distributing new music on the record label he founded, Strange Famous Records.

He has a new project in the works, a duo called ‘Epic Beard Men’ who’s album is set for 2018.

He will perform throughout Europe this summer including a month-long residency at the Scotland Fringe Festival.
