LIVE: American Idol’s Maroulis on Latest Role, EVITA at North Shore Music Theater

American Idol rocker Constantine Maroulis says he’s always had a love for musical theater, and after the whirlwind of buzz from his Idol experience, an opportunity to be in a (then) new Broadway show, “Rock of Ages”, earned him a TONY nomination and helped propel his career to where it is today. 

Maroulis who recently starred as “Sergio” in the world premiere musical production of "The Most Beautiful Room" in New York, and produced the TONY-nominated Broadway revival of “Spring Awakening," is also working on a new album original music set to release in 2018. 

Maroulis will be taking on the role of “Che” in North Shore Music Theater’s exciting new production of the Andrew Lloyd Webber classic, "Evita," which opens on September 26 and runs through October 8.
