New RI Stuffed Quahog Company Looks to Expand Beyond State Borders

Cheryl Ursillo with Grace’s Stuffies joined GoLocalProv News Editor on GoLocal LIVE during Rhode Island Quahog Week, where she spoke to the recent launch of Grace’s Stuffies. 

“I was inspired fly the story of Jim Koch who owns the Boston Beer Company legendary for Same Adams Beer, and it was his great-grandfather’s recipe that led him to manufacture,” said Ursillo, who spoke to finding her mom’s recipes — and a co-packer to get the product launched. 

Ursillo spoke to what sets Grace’s Stuffies apart, and how she hopes to expand the brand’s presence into Massachusetts and beyond. 

“You can taste the seafood in there — there’s scallops and clams and a little bit of a kick, there’s a little heat,” said Ursillo, who officially launched Grace’s in July 2018. “So you know, that is pepperoni, I can tell you that in full disclosure.”
