Roger Williams Park Zoo
Spend your Father’s Day with anacondas, slots and wallabies at the Roger Williams Park Zoo. Whether it’s traveling through the safari or the Full Circle Farmland, the zoo is a great place to for the whole family. Dads and granddads go free when helping their kids to build fountains and float boats or exploring the underground world of roots, worms and burrows at the Providence Children’s Museum. Geared for children ages 1 through 11, the museum provides hands-on activities both fun and educational that both dads and kids can take part. Newport’s Cliff Walk
There’s no rain in the forecast for this Father’s Day, so enjoy it outdoors with the family. The 3.5-mile trail overlooking the sparkling Atlantic Ocean is a fun, free way to spend 20 minutes or 2 hours. 2nd Annual Father’s Day Festival
Celebrate the family outdoors at the 2nd Annual Father’s Day Festival. Equipped with a bouncy house, relay races, refreshments and music, the festivities take place Thursday through Saturday at different Providence locations. The Providence Housing authority and local service providers have teamed up once again to dedicate three days commemorating fathers actively involved in their children’s lives. Saturday 1-4pm at Chad Brown (263 Chad Brown St), Providence.
Book Signing in Barrington
