Save the Bay Launches “Old School” Art Contest for K-12
Thursday, April 22, 2021
Save the Bay, one of Rhode Island’s leading environmental groups, is calling all artists in grades K-12 to enter a new art contest celebrating Narragansett Bay.
“Do you enjoy exploring the shoreline with friends and family? Or maybe you like to spend time fishing, kayaking or swimming? If so, your favorite place on Narragansett Bay could be anywhere in Rhode Island, from Providence to Westerly, Warwick to East Providence, or Warren to Little Compton—and we want to see it,” said Save the Bay in their announcement.
Save the Bay said this Earth Day, "we are excited to announce the third annual 'Old School Art Contest' and extend an invitation to young artists everywhere to show us their interpretation of this year's theme: 'My Place on The Bay!'"
