Luna, The Witch, now on Amazon Prime.

Barrington's Seth Chitwood is the creator of a new family-friend series now featured on Amazon Prime. 

"Luna, The Witch" produced by Angelwood Pictures and created by Chitwood, is a seven-episode digital series aimed at teens and families about an innocent 15-year-old witch.

The show is a coming-of-age comedy/thriller about a girl entering adulthood and struggling trying to find her identity. She also happens to have magical powers.

All seven episodes were shot over four days this past summer, following strict COVID-19 guidelines and safety precautions, and features a cast of New England actors.

Chitwood is a recent graduate of the American Film Institute Conservatory with a Master’s Degree in Screenwriting created and directed the series. He is the creative director of Angelwood Pictures, which that recently produced its 250th web series episode. Luna, The Witch marks Angelwood's ninth show – all filmed in the New England area.

About Cast

The main character is played by Alexa Hartman of Bourne, MA, who botches a love potion she casts on the boy she likes played by Charlie Tacker of Wareham, MA.

She is forced to turn to her mother, played by Wendy Hartman and great-great-great grandmother Karen Ann Martino from Massachusetts, summoned from the past to help repair the damage.

Alexa and Wendy Hartman are a mother/daughter acting duo – this is their first project together. Martino is the recipient of 2015 LA Web Fest Outstanding Supporting Actress recipient for her role as Mother Turner in Family Problems. 

The entire first season is free to watch for Amazon Prime members. It will be available on the streaming platform for the next six months.
