Linden Place to Host Lecture on Ties Between RI, Charleston & West Indies

Wadsworth Anthaneum’s Brandy Culp will host a lecture at
Linden Place Mansion to discuss the ties between Rhode Island, Charleston and the West Indies.
“Filled with rich details, recently discovered information and some interesting twists, this lecture is not to be missed by any history buff,” said Linden Place in their press release.
The lecture will take place on Thursday, November 15 at 7 p.m.

About Culp
Culp is the Curator of American Decorative Arts at the Wadsworth Anthaneum and before that served as Curator of Historic Charleston Foundation, leading projects for the conservation and interpretation of the Foundation’s collection of fine and decorative arts. Culp also served as the Andrew W.
Mellon Curatorial Fellow in the Department of American Art at the Art Institute of Chicago.

Phantom Gourmet Food Festival

The Phantom Gourmet Food Festival is an event to look forward too and it will be held on September 22 from 12- 4 p.m. on two streets next to Fenway Park.
Tickets are $40 in advance and online and will go up to $50 at the event.
The ticket includes sampling 100 of Phantom's foods from hot dogs and pizza to pulled pork and more. Beer and wine will be served on the street.
