David Byrne to Launch World Tour for New Album in Providence

Musician - and former RISD student - David Byrne will be launching his world tour for his upcoming album at The Vets in Providence.

Byrne, a founding member of The Talking Heads, will release his first album since 2018 entitled "Who is the Sky?" in September, and will kick off his tour at the Vets on September 14.

Byrne's new album, set to be released on September 5, is a collaboration with Grammy Award-winning producer Kid Harpoon and Ghost Train Orchestra; it also features Hayley Williams, St. Vincent, and Tom Skinner.
