Narragansett Town Beach will be hosting the fifth annual "Bark on the Beach," a charity dog walk to benefit Animal Rescue Rhode Island.

The event is open to the public who are invited to walk the shoreline with their dogs on Saturday, October 3 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. All proceeds of the walk will benefit the animals being sheltered at ARRI.

“Narragansett Town Beach is such a nice place to be in the fall that this has become one of our most popular events. Pet lovers of all ages typically come out to support us, which in turn helps support the animals in our care. We are also grateful to our sponsors and event donors for their generosity," said ARRI Executive Director Tammy Walter.
