21-Time Emmy Winner, West, to Speak at Wheeler on Women’s Movement

Betsy West, an executive producer at Storyville Films and an associate professor at the Columbia School of Journalism, will speak about the Women's Movement on Wednesday, March 4 at The Wheeler School.
The lecture is titled "The Awakening: PBS's Makers Documentary and the Women's Movement at Wheeler" and it is free and open to the public.
West is a 21-time Emmy Winner with over 30 years of experience in television news and documentaries. Most recently, she was the executive producer of the documentary MAKERS: Women Who Make America which aired on PBS in Februray of 2013.

West's speech will be given at the Gilder Center for the Arts Auditorium on the Wheeler Campus.
