Halloween Carnevil at Newport Vineyards
Come one, come all to Newport Vineyards 3rd Annual Halloween CarnEvil.
The regions’ premier costume party with an evening full of Circus Dynamics jugglers, TEN31 performers, beats by DJ Jay Buff and more.
The event goes from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Far to Near at the Casino Theatre
Far to Near will feature choreography by Island Moving Company Artistic Director Miki Ohlsen. The production will also celebrate the world premiere of new work by Simona De Tullio Director of the Breathing Art Company based in Bari, Italy. De Tullio’s work internationally has taken her to Germany, Spain, Hungary, and Albania with a mission to give young talent an opportunity to explore the art of dance.
The show begins at 7 p.m.
Ask a Gardner at Rough Point
Estate gardeners share their expertise on a range of topics from plant identification to organic garden care. Get insider tips on to make your own garden as lush as the gardens at Rough Point.
The event goes from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Howl - O-Ween Parade and Social at Hotel Viking
Dressing up your furry family member is scary cute and this year Hotel Viking wants to see their creativity.
The parade will start at Wag Nation at 1 pm and will make its ways to the One Bellevue patio. Treats & Cash Bar will be provided. Bring your pets and share a spooky treat before all the Trick- Or- Treaters come knocking.
The event goes from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
St. Peter's Haunted House
This is the final day of the Haunted House.
This is a walk through style haunted maze. It is suitable for children.
This is not an interactive haunted house, it is props and animatronics.
The event goes from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Harvest Festival at Newport Vineyards
Two days full of grape stomping, wine and Taproot beer tasting, pie eating goodness. Enjoy live music, while sipping on our local wines or fresh Taproot beer, and noshing on food created by scratch from our culinary team.
The event goes from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Bourbon & Cigars Tasting at Cara at The Chanler
Experience the first-ever tasting series at Cara. Featuring a 6-course tasting menu by Chef Matt Voskuil paired with the finest bourbons and finished off with a cigar.
Special presentations by Don Jean, New England Emerging Brands Manager of Brown-Forman and Todd LaScola, Owner of the Havana Cigar Club.
The event goes from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Piano Concert at with Nora Bartosik at Redwood Library
Nora Bartosik has performed internationally on three continents as a soloist and in chamber ensembles. She is a laureate of several international competitions, and has performed in venues including the Konzerthaus in Berlin, the Gewandhaus in Leipzig, the Gesellschaft für Musiktheater in Vienna, and the Théâtre de la Ville in Valence, France.
She was invited to the prestigious Tanglewood Festival as a Piano Fellow in the 2018 summer season, and has appeared in other international festivals including the Aspen Music Festival, the Saoû Chante Mozart Festival in Saoû, France, and the HARMOS Chamber Music Festival in Porto, Portugal. She has performed in masterclasses with artists including Daniel Barenboim, Emmanuel Ax, and Yo-Yo Ma. She holds a Bachelor’s degree with honors from Harvard University, a Master’s degree from the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria, and an Artist Diploma from the University of Music in Leipzig, Germany.
The concert goes from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Trunk or Treat at Fort Adams
Bring the family out to Audrain’s Trunk or Treat! Dress up in your Halloween costumes and trick or treat from the trunks of some of Newport’s coolest cars.
The event goes from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Traditional Irish Music at Fastnet Irish Pub
Live traditional Irish music every Sunday night, hosted by A. O. Gutierrez, Tim May and Jack Wright. Family friendly- arrive early to secure a table if you plan on eating.
The event goes from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
