Itchy
Itchy is a playful and friendly guy. He is around 1 year old. Itchy was found as a stray and transferred to us from the Providence Animal Control. He is working on his manners and gets nervous around new people and places. Soft, smelly treats and a dose of patience is really it takes to steal his heart! Adopters should feel comfortable doing slow introductions with new folks in the future. Being the only pet, with adults only is best. Itchy can also be overwhelmed by larger groups of people so a small, quite family is best for him. If you have room in your heart for this dude, come and meet him today!

Forrest
Forrest was found as a stray and transferred to PARL from the Providence Animal Control. Named after Forrest Grump, Forrest is a loveable and outgoing guy who is around 10 months old. Forrest is a young, energetic little man who needs a dog savvy and active family. He is still very young and can get jumpy/mouthy when he is excited. Staff have been working with him daily on sitting and settling when interacting with people (in exchange for a treat). He has made progress, but sometimes cannot contain his excitement and gets jumpy/mouthy—so adults only for Forrest. Adopters are encouraged to continue working on his basic obedience. No cat friends for Forrest, as he has no history. Forrest appears to be bowlegged and has a little bit of trouble walking around, but that doesn’t stop Forrest from living life! Scratchy
Scratchy is around 1 years old. He was found as a stray and transferred to us from the Providence Animal Control. Scratchy is working on his manners and can sometimes guard food and laps, because of this staff feels he would do best in a home as the only pet and with adults only. Scratchy can also be overwhelmed by larger groups of people so a small, quite family is best for him. If you’re interested in Scratchy come by PARL to meet him!

Moose
My name is Moose! I am 2 yrs old and one goofy, tennis ball - loving stud!. I was found as a stray in Providence so staff do not know a ton about my past. I spent several months at PARL searching for a home to call my own. Staff and volunteers brought me on quite a few adventures and we did lot's of fancy photo-shoots! Nevertheless, being in a shelter day in and day out just wasn't going to cut it for an active guy like me. One day, a wonderful lady named Jamie came along and decided to be my foster mom! Let me tell you, life has been SO much better relaxing in a home! Each time the phone rings I hope that it's PARL calling to set up a meet with a potential forever home. Until that day comes, I am very much loved and cared for!
