State Sues Travelers Insurance: See the Documents

A state agency is suing the Travelers insurance company in the hope of recovering at least $16 million in taxpayer dollars that were wasted by employees and officers at the state landfill. Below is the three-page complaint filed in Providence County Superior Court last March. The fourth page is an excerpt from an August 16 memorandum filed on behalf of the state agency, the Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corporation, explaining why it brought the suit forward.
