A bakery in Providence is closing.

Augusta Street Kitchen made the announcement over the weekend.

Owner Shanel Sinclair, who appeared on GoLocal LIVE in 2019, said while she is shuttering the Valley Street location, she plans to continue to share recipes, focusing on grain-free and organic baked goods, online.

"I’ve been getting a lot of calls regarding [Augusta Street Kitchen]," said Sinclair. "So here [it] goes...I have officially closed. Yep, that’s right."

"I do want to send boat loads of love and hugs to all who have supported me throughout the past 5+ years! I could have never gotten this off the ground without you!" she added. "While it was an amazing experience, it was also very challenging. It’s been a wonderful learning experience, for sure!"

"Next question I have been getting is, what next?  I’m turning the @augustastkitchen page into what I’ve wanted to do for a few years now..teaching you all how to make some of the delicious things I dished out these last few years," said Sinclair. "Yes, there will be e-books, recipe sharing videos and some health-related [Instagram LIVES] available to everyone."

"Stay tuned for more! I’ll update you all once things get rolling!"
