Winemakers in Alsace are not just famous for making some of the best still white wines in the world; they are also among the very best at making rich and concentrated desert wines. These delicious, and often very expensive wines, are made from specially selected late-harvested grapes. Pastry Chef Melissa Denmark’s dessert course is one of the evening’s menu highlights. “I love creating desserts that are harmonious with wine. Our dessert course will showcase the local peach harvest, enhanced with a bit of spice.  It’s going to be deliciously paired with a late harvest wine from Gerard Metz,” said Denmark.
