Union Station Brewery in Providence has announced it will release a special, limited-edition beer – “Big Trouble in Little Rhody” – for the state’s biggest rival game between the PC and URI men's basketball teams on Saturday, December 2.
According to Union Station, "Big Trouble in Little Rhody is a German-style Kölsch that is light, crisp and clean – a perfect pairing for the heated matchup at the Amica Mutual Pavillion, where it will be sold on select concourses, in addition to being unveiled at Union Station Brewery before the game."
Earlier this year, Union Station Brewery forged a partnership with Providence College to launch an exclusive “Friartown™ Old School IPA" -- the beer is now brewed and sold year-round at Union Station Brewery and other local establishments.

About Union Station Brewery
According to the business:
"Since 1993, Union Station Brewery has brewed and served its own handcrafted beer alongside classic American tavern fare in the former Union Station train depot. In 2019, a few local restauranteurs and bar proprietors purchased the brewpub, transitioning it from a corporate entity to a true Rhode Island institution with a neighborhood feel in the heart of Providence.
Union Station Brewery features a rotating selection of seasonal and specialty brews on tap. In addition, it has an ever-expanding line of new canned beers available in 4-packs to-go with a growing distribution base in bars, restaurants and liquor stores throughout RI."
