Taco Breaks Ground on $18M Expansion

Taco broke ground on a new $18 million expansion project on Monday, June 6.
Taco, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of heating and cooling equipment, systems and accessories for hydronic-based applications in residential, commercial and institutional buildings. Its new 24,037-square foot building will connect to the company’s main headquarters and will include a 63-seat tiered classroom, two 25-seat teaming spaces, a library with computer center and demonstration rooms featuring cutting-edge equipment and functioning laboratories for testing and teaching among other features.
In addition to the expansion project, the builder, Shawmut Design and Construction, will also renovate 24,000-square feet of Taco’s current headquarters creating offices and working stations and incorporating energy efficient lighting into the old building.
