RISTRA Offers Reduced Home Stays to Those Impacted by RIDOT Bridge Failure
Friday, December 15, 2023
The Rhode Island Short Term Rental Association has announced that it will offer a wide collection of their homes at steeply discounted rates to Rhode Islanders who are negatively impacted by the Washington Bridge westbound closure and construction on the Newport Bridge.
According to Greer Gagnier, executive director of RISTRA, short term rental owners are deeply discounting room stays - as much as 50 percent - to ease the burdens of commuters.

“We recognize that many Rhode Islanders, particularly medical personnel and educators may not have the needed time for the lengthened commute,“ said Gagnier. “This is one example of Rhode Islanders looking for ways to help other Rhode Islanders in need.”
