NEW: Gas Prices Fall Six More Cents

Rhode Island gas prices have dropped six more cents since last week according to AAA Southern New England.

Prices for regular unleaded gasoline dropped by an average of six cents per gallon this week. Prices have fallen 32 cents over the last seven weeks.

Rhode Island’s current average of $3.73 per gallon is 17 cents above the national average of $3.56. Last year the state average was $2.76.

Prices in AAA’s latest survey show a range of 30 cents for regular unleaded, from a low of $3.59 to a high of $3.89.
