Lincoln Mall Movie Theaters Are Closing

 

After 21 years, CWTheaters located at the Lincoln Mall are closing. 

The facility featured 16 theaters.

The company — the CW Theaters Team and the Starr family — made the announcement on Wednesday night.

“Over the years, we’ve been proud to drive innovation on the local movie-going experience. This theater was the first in this area with stadium seating, among the first in the world to present films using DLP digital projection,” said the company.

 

“It been our honor to help raise the bar and share those advancements with you,” they added.

 

Also closing are the company’s 22 lanes of bowling and related games.

 

This Saturday, February 28, is the last day of operation.
