It’s now the “Heather and Matty” show on Lite 105.
The announcement was made Monday morning that Matty Blake is joining up with Heather Gersten Perry to co-host the radio slot, just in time for the holiday season.
Lite 105 shared a video of Gersten Perry’s “prom-proposal” inspired “popping the question” to ask Blake to officially team up with her on the show moving forward, after she was joined by a series of guest hosts in recent months.

In July, Stephen Donovan of the then “Heather and Steve” show announced that he had been let go after more than seven years at the radio station.
“I’m no longer co-hosting the morning show on Lite 105. The radio business has always been a tough one – I knew that when I got into it. It has gotten tougher lately and there’s now no margin for error,” he said.
Both Gersten Perry and Blake took to social media Monday morning to promote the announcement of the new show.
“Over 20 years ago I met Heather working together on a radio show,” Blake wrote Monday morning. “This morning we announced our new show: HEATHER & MATTY.”
“It only took us 2 separate careers & 2 families…better late than never indeed!” he added.
