Ottolini will continue at the station in a writing and social media role.

Audacy, the parent company of WEEI, has announced a series of weekday programming updates.

Now, the afternoon show co-host Adam Jones and weeknight host Rich Keefe will reunite for a new midday show. The duo, who previously hosted a top-rated evening show together for multiple years in the market, will deliver a blend of sports and lifestyle entertainment, on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. ET beginning August 26, says the company.

The station elevates Andy Hart as afternoon show co-host alongside Christian Arcand. “The WEEI Afternoon Show” will be heard weekdays from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET beginning August 27. The show will welcome various special guests throughout the week, including the New England Patriots starting quarterback, Boston Red Sox manager Alex Cora, ESPN insider Adam Schefter and former NBA player and current NBC Sports Boston Celtic analyst Brian Scalabrine.

In January, Audacy filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

The company is the parent company of WEEI Sports Radio.

In May of 2023, John Rooke, a long-time WEEI contributor, announced he was the latest to be cut.

“After a nearly 30-year association with WEEI and weei.com, I've been informed my writing position has been eliminated. I appreciate all Entercom, and now Audacy, Inc. have allowed me to contribute over the years, whether on air or on the web,” wrote Rooke on social media.

In Rhode Island, WEEI closed its offices in April of 2023.
