Green Development to Relocate Headquarters to Cranston’s Chapel View
Tuesday, September 17, 2019
Green Development’s headquarters will be moving to Chapel View in Cranston, the company announced on Tuesday.
Green Development, whose current headquarters are in North Kingstown, expects to take over the 5th and 6th floors of 2000 Chapel View Boulevard by December 7, 2019.
“The increased space will accommodate my entire development team as we had simply outgrown our existing headquarters. The move to Cranston will also allow us to be more centrally located to our projects. At Green, our focus is developing renewable energy projects that benefit Rhode Island while providing a great working environment for our employees. The move to Chapel View provides us that opportunity to support our employees with the creative space required to achieve our goals,” said Green Development Chairman and Founder Mark DePasquale.

The Move
The move will expand Green’s HQ footprint from approximately 5,600 square feet to over 22,000 square feet. Green is taking over space formerly used by Alex and Ani.
Green is considered one of the largest developers of utility-scale renewable energy projects in Rhode Island with 48MW under operation, 20MW currently under construction and another 180MW of projects in development.
“Carpionato Group is thrilled that Green Development, one of the region’s fastest-growing renewable energy generators and developers, has chosen Chapel View to be the site of its new corporate headquarters,” said K. MacArthur Coates, president, and CEO of Carpionato Group.
Green currently has 56 full-time employees (with plans to hire at least 4 more employees by the end of the month.) and utilizes over 100 subcontractors to support, construct and maintain their wind and solar projects in 15 municipalities in Rhode Island.
