According to Statewide MLS data, this is the 5th sale of more than $1,000,000 on the East Side of Providence this year.

Located at 25 Balton Road, the home was originally built in 1929 by Boston architect William T. Aldrich. 

The original owner, Frederick Bodell, was a member of the New York Stock Exchange and founder of the Bodell & Co. brokerage firm.

The home consists of over 8,300 square feet of living space, including five bedrooms and 8.2 baths. It also has two family rooms, a gourmet kitchen, a study, and a gym. 

The sale was completed by Residential Properties sales associate Jim DeRentis.
