Do so and the kids will fail the tests and the Kommisar will fire your teachers and turn you over to charter management.Maybe, someone needs to start a separate charter school where those kids needing that level of attention can go to receive the support they need without taking away from the education of the other students that don't require that level of social support.
Maybe, browbeating and claiming that the teachers are failing is not the answer. Maybe the answer is designing schools to group students according to their needs and addressing those needs. Stop trying to have everyone attain the same outcomes and start working to develop each individual child for what they can become.

No one believes you Senator. You loathe those who love liberty and stand up in defense of it. You are a disgrace to your office. Exposures of questionable contributions to President Nixon's re-election campaign and one of his relatively small income-tax payments won Pulitzer Prizes for national reporting yesterday. The awards were announced for the 58th years in a row.Prizes of $1,000 each went to James R. Polk, of The Washington Star-News, for stories that, among other things, disclosed a secret $200,000 campaign contribution by the financier Robert L. Vesco and to Jack White, of The Providence Journal-Bulletin, who disclosed President Nixon's 1970 and 1971 tax returns; the disclosures led eventually to back tax payments by the President.

Delusional as a comment is not, "Dr." Z, filled with hate. It is merely an observation about the nonsensical opinions spewed forth by the denizens of GoLoCoProv. I had hoped it might be a replacement for the Journal when it was a good media outlet. I find Go Local, for the most part, lacking in content, but it'd always amusing to see what the crazies write. From: Jean Ann Guliano: What Gist’s Supporters Are Forgetting—Students

I am a candidate for mayor. I will never raise property taxes or car taxes. I will cut wasteful spending. I will only accept a salary of $50,000 a year, which is what the average median income is for head of household in Providence.I will drive my own vehicle to work and get rid of the police chauffeur . This will save 1.5 to 2 million dollars over my first term in office. I will get rid of the exorbitant salaries at city hall. I will not give out free parking passes for the mayors staff to park at the Biltmore Parking Garage. This will save hundreds of thousands of dollars!
The current mayor want to raise taxes and give his staff who are making six figure incomes pay raises, I will never do such a thing!

Okay,,,Gist doesn't care about the kids.National union representatives have stated that the teachers unions don't care about the kids. Ergo, the union members don't care about the kids. The members after all elect their representatives.
And we know a great many parents don't care about the kids.
Sounds like the kids are screwed.

I think that it is a shame that Mr. Tavares decided to bail out after one term. If this is s way to move up in the party it does nothing but hurt Providence. Seems like there are a few first time politicians elected in Providence that didn't really want the job they ran for and only used us the residents as bait. Taxes go up every year and we get nothing to show for it. Poorly run schools, terrible winter plowing and reps that don't want to hear from you after they kiss up before elections. Get ready RI because you are going to have to bail us out. PC takes more and more property off the tax rolls, take streets and like all other colleges and religions suck the life out of us homeowners. From: Travis Rowley: Obama’s Failed Vision of Government

Although I think the President knows what's going on, and is just tap dancing in his own inimitable way, this is an excellent point:"When President Obama claims to know nothing about all three Washington scandals currently in question, isn’t he admitting to the inferiority of his own big-government philosophy – that is, that an ever-expanding state cannot be controlled to the point where it remains accountable to taxpayers?"
If the Prez and his team "don't know" because their government is too big to control or manage, then they are caught in their own ideological trap.

KATYDEAD WRONG ON YOUR NUMBER 3.
READ CASE LAW 97-256 and 99-256.
WE DID NOT SIT BY WE DID NOT AGREE TO THE GROSS FUNDING
AND IN A CIVILIZED SOCIETY WE DID WHAT WE COULD.
WE WENT TO COURT AND SUED FOR PROPER FUNDING AND THE JUUDGES IN BOTH
CASES ASSURED ALL RETIREES THAT THE CITY HAD BECOME THE GUARANTOR OF
ALL PENSIONS WHEN THEY MESSED WITH THE PROPER FUNDING.
THEIR WORDS WERE "DO NOT WORRY YOU WILL NEVER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT NOT GET YOUR PENSIONS
NOW OR LATER"
READ THAT CASE THEN PLEASE COMMENT.
WEW DID ALL WE COULD TO FORCE PROPER FUNDING INCLUDING SPENDING HUNREDS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN COURT.
THE CITY CANNOT NOW DO WHAT TAVERAS DID.
TAVERAS IS THE DISHONORABLE DEVIL.
AND THE CITY HAS MONEY AND ASSETTS BUT THAT IS ANOTHER STORY.
I REALLY WANT YOU AND OTHERS TO READ THAT CASE, THEN COMMENT.
