Obvious huge win for Cicilline. Doherty is NOT ready for prime time. He doesn't have a grasp of the policy at all.

Doherty WAY MORE LIKEABLE. Cicilline's talking points seemed to go over like a lead balloon. Malchi clearly is on the same^**%* as his hero. Cicilline had to rely on a huge NOTEBOOK for policy. This guy ain't no wonk - he's a BS artist.

I can see Doherty as our next congressman and someone that will do a great job.
Cicilline has been in political office for 18 years, its time for him to go with all his lies and corruption!

Why not blame Providence's financial difficulties on those who have groomed Doherty, who provides no evidence of being an independent or critical thinker? What makes anyone think repeating the same distortions ad nauseum makes someone a leader? Methinks your poll represents the kind of reader who comments here and at the Journal way more than it being an objective measure of who made the most valid points during last night's debate.

Congressman Cicilline did a great job last night and I'm happy to support him! Mr. Sionni why don't you go back on Twitter and tell some more lies. Usually when someone makes up lies about someone else it's because they're trying to tell the truth about themselves. You're part of whats wrong with this country - someone who just keeps on taking the unemployment benefits from the State of Rhode Island instead of looking for a job you lazy baboon. Isn't that why you told Gemma you'd just help him for free because they state pays you! Gosh - hypocrite.
